About me

2014

Huub Design

In January 2014 I was unveiled as the face of Huub Design after I featured in their latest advertising campaign.

TrainerRoad

TrainerRoad have recently announced me as a brand ambassador for them also. TrainerRoad have developed software which you can use alongside your turbo trainer to track power outputs. They have then created workouts which means you are no longer just pedalling as I was. You are training with a purpose. I hope to use this software to increase my power outputs this season and set some faster bike splits. The good thing is that you can run this software on your computer whilst watching videos which completely breaks the monotony of time on the turbo trainer.

If you would like a one month trial of TrainerRoad, please let me know. I have a few discount codes available.

2012

Early in 2012 I decided to give up smoking as I wasn't enjoying it anymore.

After I had made that momentous decision, I then decided to set myself a challenge.

Given my swimming background and the fact I could ride a bike. A triathlon seemed like a fitting challenge. One problem I am was awful at running.

This blog will be detailing my journey from smoker to triathlete.

So far I have signed up for two triathlons in 2012.

The Hatfield triathlon which I am using as to gain experience. This is set for July 29th. My race report can be seen here. http://smoker2triathlete.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/im-not-virgin.html
The London triathlon which I am completing for Cancer Research. This is set for September 23rd. My race report can be seen here. http://smoker2triathlete.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/and-on-seventh-day-god-created-rain.html
